BMW sets new motorcycles sales record

BMW has reported a trend-busting record year for sales of motorcycles and scooters. During 2012 they sold a reported 106,358 vehicles worldwide – a 2% increase on the previous year.

The best selling bike was, once again the R1200GS with 17,000 units sold, followed by the F800GS (just shy of 11,500 bikes).
