In (I think) 1995 Owen ,ride em till they blow, Wilson won the Noddy Award for knowingly starting a race with rear tire cords showing. He didn't finish the race...

I should have asked him (Gary) I saw him at a trail ride today.

F5 early days Pete sales quite a bit, Lawrence erm, Laurie, won one year, think Darrin was the next, then Gary to one after. ahh heck I'll dig out my records, but they won't give heaps of clues.

Oh Hey here's an old pic
    Laurie 1st
    Chris Picket 2nd
    me 3rd

No year but the sash downstairs will have it

The year Darrin won the pic has me & Regan in it at prizegiving. I seem to remember a race with Regan hitting my back wheel in the corner onto the straight at Taupo on the last lap maybe? I don't think he got past. Hold on that looks like Ohakea at the very north end. Ah heck who knows?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

    Surely....

I asked them a number of years ago and got no answer. So I thought maybe ask those involved.

Old pic before digital of course.
Not me, I didn't race 2 GPs back as my Daughter arrived on the scene a few weeks before & it was a bit much to go away for a couple of days, but I'd done over 20 in a row by then. Lent my bike to a small girl & she won the GP. I have a picture in my office with her in front of a TZ250 that was run off the same grid. he can't have raced again.

Wonder where I put all my trophies, certificates etc, can't find them. Don't think I threw them out

thinking about it the 50cc trofty should have all the names on it . heard the old one went missing .. in 1999 l no as a joke it was given to simon lemming in stead of marty cause they had the same number or if it was 98 l think ray wilson won it at the foxton gp

A complete list of everyone’s best times. Its interesting to see F4 bikes up amongst all sorts of other bikes like Posties, Pre 89's etc.
But! I think at these events most classes ran the long track and the buckets/SS150 and maybe the classics did the short track. Is that correct?
Add that to the timing system that gave some clearly erroneous results.

    Two more for the list.

Crazyman and myself won the Sidecar titles in both 1999 & 2000. If I could track down the trophy I think it would give all the details of the other winners (not sure about other placings though).

Pretty sure Lusty & Biceps came second to us in both 1999 and 2000, but I am sure they won several titles themselves. Will look into where that trophy went, as it should tell all.
