That's a good idea, and the OP should also uninstall any AV software and disable the firewall, too. Then start downloading a whole lot of random keygens and start visiting dodgy porn sites and clicking on every link and ad in those porn sites. It's also prudent to open as many email attachments from random senders as possible. Doing all that will ensure optimum lulz and a smooth running system.

There are regular Windows security updates, not just from the SPs. It makes sense to download them since it doesn't cost anything and performance doesn't appear to be affected.
