buy a couple of 20t jacks and a porta-power, i'm sure you could find a straight I-beam kicking around.
piece of piss.
My house was out 150mm at one corner 6m x 4m
I used four 20t jacks (10t would have done it) and a railway sleeper on top of them
Jacked up a bit at a time and 50mm higher than level
(what actually happened was the T&G flooring lifted the entire house and it self leveled)
Then rested it down on railway sleepers
Dug new post holes concreted in new piles 150mm x 150mm
Place bearers 2 x 50mm x 200mm bolted and nailed together to form a lamination
Strapped and nailed them to the house and bearers (one week later)
Lower the house down again (two weeks later)
NOTE: Keep your bloody windows closed - I made the mistake of opening one thinking the lift would shatter it. I had to remove and replace anyway but if you don't want to do that keep them closed..
Its a one man job and took three weeks in total
No problem six months on and no movement
Farkin good effort that man!
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
Yep, he's earnt a beer for sure!

						I thought I'd posted already....
Levelling as in the house is not level, and needs to be as part of EQ repair scope.
So levelling, not razing.
Specifically interested to hear any reports on listed companies, as proposed repair builders use them....

Good luck...if it's under cap and through Fletchers, you won't have a say....If it's insurance you still may not have a say - maybe express a preference but cost will still be the factor the Insurance co use to determine who does it.
Anecdotally, very few are happy with what they're getting, no matter who does it....Given the time and price constraints these guys are under at present, they're turning jobs round far faster than they ever used to.
Something has to suffer in those circumstances....usually the homeowner.
Oh - and you WILL be pressured to sign the job off on completion....
