    Kiwi-to-be (Jjgres)

    Hello,

We'll (me + wife) be heading for New Zealand in November. Around the 10th. Working on mooching a bike for a couple weeks and tour both islands.

Mostly, where can I get a look at the 3 eyed lizards?

I suspect that you mean the Tuatara lizard. There are quite a few places around the country where these animals can be sighted and interacted with. You'll generally find leaflets in local information centres.

There is also a brewery called Tuatara that produces some of New Zealand's better ales. Make a point of trying those too.

Maybe I better find the brewery first.

You guys know if Brian and Keith, two Kiwis who shipped their bikes to the US and rode the trans America trail, on this board?

It was a couple years ago. I'd like to stop by and say hello.

It's in Paraparaumu, about 50km north of Wellington on State Highway 1.
