I never said it did. In fact, the words "some of that money" were used.

I'd like another dog, but there's no one home for most of the day and can't take one to work.

What about a cat then? They pretty much look after themselves, are very territorial and keep other cats and the odd dog away.

The family cat we had years ago used to chase dogs away, it was amazing to see.

I'd rather own a Harley than a cat.
I might invest in an air rifle...

A Harley? Now I know you're trolling. What sort of person buys a Harley instead of an air rifle?

I had a cat-killing dog ... any cat that tried to stand up to him just died ...

You can't ride a cat to the Cemetry Circuit races - or between Auckland and Welington (well, I wouldn't try that on a Harley either) ... unless you want bad scratches on your thighs!!!

It depends on the breed of dog. We had a Labrador and cat that got on really well.

That's interesting 'cos Labradors are mostly known for retrieving, not shoulding (showing I take it) or killing.

Yeah .. should = showed .. spelling is even more non-neurotypical than usual today .. and "edit" function is turned off ..
