I've been running Sport Demons on my 1100 for quite a while now.

I like their stickability and the feedback they give but I've found that the front wears a little oddly. I'm wondering if the 1100 is slightly heavier than the Sport Demons' are designed for.

I'm going for a pair of Lasertecs next time.

Are you getting cupping on the front? I'm not too worried about wear or long life. I've never really had anything on the front that was working (well), or anything for that matter that gives much feedback

Hope you realise that on older bikes with narrow rims these are the sorts of tyres that are available and there's nothing much wrong with them

Haven't tried Sport Demons but have used both BT45 and Metzler and they were fairly similar

BT45 on the front of the 750 Kat I had, no problem at all

100/90 19 front
103/90 17 rear

Go Metzeler Lasertech (Me33) 350 x 19 Front With Bt45 rear . This works well even though not a matched set . Trust me , if its black , round and goes on a bike I know

once bitten, twice bitten, I don't want to buy more Michelins and be sacred of cats eyes and while lines in the wet ~ wary of not learning from my mistakes

What do they mean by 'profile'? Shape of the tyre across the tread? Or size - ie 110/80 x 19?

Because for the life of me I don't see what difference either would make in a tyre of different tread pattern and compound.

I'm just saying that the Activ has had great reviews, so perhaps should not be dismissed.

I got the tyres from Don at Pit Lane, what a good dude!

They are really nice compared to the shite Kanda Kruz crappola that was fitted, why people go cheap on tyres fitted to an 1100 I'll never understand.

Older Suzuki + Metzelers = work well together.

I used Me33 / 55s and never had a problem. Tried Avons once... Not going there again. Didn't suit my bike at all.

I assumed he's living on a gravel road somewhere out Darfield way, that's where the shop is. The tyres are if a BMW 1200 he said
