Thanks chaps, some very useful info, I think they would have to be sold locally though as they are farkin heavy. Just had a fella ask me to make him a huge barby/piss up table

Also working on another project aimed at small motor mechanics and or chainsaw workers. Pretty rugged first attemp, but it is a great idea(IMO).

Why do they insist on doing that, dont they know we want to get were we are going, without having to stop and look at shit.

I just lock the blade in the bench vice to sharpen the chain ... make sure the chain can be spun and doesn't hit the vice ..

Thats what I used to do, but with this I dont have to take the saw out and turn it round, this one the whole thing turns. And it is easy to remove from it,s bracket, so I can put the whole thing up out of the way when not useing it.

nah bro, that's pretty stiley, there's be heaps of retarded aucklanders willing to pay probably 200$ for something like that, just take them down (up?) to the matakana "farmers" market, but make sure there's no too-rough edges, because that's not chic, and might scratch their SUVs.

anywhere else in the country you'd probably fetch 80$ at least.

Ha! Parallel lives.. Though I'm not unemployed, not quite, not yet, but only got 4 hours work today. There is a lot of solace to be found in the shed.
Good on ya for doing something constructive rather than sitting on yer arse whinging.

I would put 1 on Trade Me with a $1 reserve, and see what the market says.
