    This is quite cool.

I wonder if we'll get it? It's far more appealing to me than the uber beige and somewhat tacky seeming 300R.
I think they'd be on to something if the even chuck cheap USDs on and at least make it look serious, because the KTM Duke 300 has the proper looks of a proper bike, not a commuter, tarted up a little.

The 250 (same bike pretty much) has been a USA hit until Honda stole some sales with their naughtly little 250 - Kawa responded with a pumped up 300. Reviewing extremely well and looks the part.

If it arrrives here it will no douobt be too expensive to entice youths away from the car yards. Shit those new Honda 500's are over $10k. Who the fuck is going to spend $10k on a learner motorcycle?

This LAMS market is getting fully exploited more and more as the year goes by, these bikes are all very cool and all but they are all brand new and if I was walking around with 10g I would be looking straight past them at a quality 2nd hand 600 bike. The fact that they are learner legal is all that hikes the price up, I just want to hang out for my full where I can pick up a street triple or similar for the same money and have my ideal bike straight off without having to sell one of these 300/500s again not knowing how much I'll lose.

You can't buy the Z300 in NZ (yet?... hopefully) so it won't be on the LAMS list. But just going by looks this bike is the hottest thing out there in its class (and beyond ).
Not sure if there is anything between the Z300 and the Z1000. Someone mentioned a Z500 the other day, but when I googled it I got thoroughly disappointed as it was something looking like my GN...

    There's a z800 which looks pretty mean:

    Definitely not a LAMS bike.
