In most instances a bike would be gone before he was even aware of its presence.

Sadly there's probably more like him out there so take care.
Over the holidays I overtook, in a truck n trailer tanker unit, an old fella towing something like a foldout caravan thingee...he was doing 75-80 on the motorway and so I just cruised past doing 90 clicks. Same geezer dawdles into the servo I'd just delivered my load at, and he comes over for a quiet word about my speed. He seemed surprised that the 80 kmh limit for trailers had been amended years ago to 90 kmh...changed his tone somewhat

I wonder if he started driving closer to 90 after this discussion

A car dealer I spoke with said that if the front gets damaged then it costs $7k to replace the front bumper. Insurance companies just write off the vehicle instead.
Perhaps Suzuki should just stick to making bikes?
The Bergs have a swift (abet a sport one) and its a wee rocket. Unfortunately we have the speeding tickets to prove that front bumper also nowhere near that price any more. When they first came out parts were expensive but there's plenty of aftermarket bits available now.
If you are what you eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy
I have a gas axe and a welder! What do you mean "it won't fit"?

    *chortle*
    "drive to the conditions" etc...
I looked at getting one when they were first released. $17k brand new (iirc), wasn't a bad price.
Not too sure what they go for nowadays.

    They're around $20k for a base 1.4 Swift now.
Excellent little cars, drive well compared to the other Jap competition.

Maybe it's my dirty mind, but if my wife and I are faced with a situation such as you outlined...it just spells out naughty blowjob opportunity...and we're both calm and relaxed, not to mention happy...just a thought

yeah that's what happens, the 250 whizzers have to pass illegally, then the first sign of rough road surface or moisture and they are holding up traffic they just passed. and if you pass my holden, you are speeding. i think that you have the same mindset as the holden/audi drivers, and it reflects that, as why you have to pass them.

Audi's are better, their suspension is far superior, by far.

I followed one Holden over Mt Messenger one day. V8 crackle and rumble into corners, then squirming sideways out of corners trying to get the power down.

Hell, I just sat behind and enjoyed

This bastard was in a black SS, I thought I would have him when we got to the gravel, but no, the bastard could drive, we hit the gravel doing upwards of 180 and I was sure the cnut would back off, but oh no. I need a faster bike.
