    Hey mate,

Could only find the one pic on your profile. What kind of service history does the bike have?

    Cheers

I sort of agree, don't really like the later R1s apart from the cross planes. Glorious motors and they sound the mutts nuts.

I still have a soft spot for my old 03 R1, another one of the bikes i shouldn't have sold... About all it needed was a steering dampner and some $ spent on the suspension, but it was a great road engine and it toured in surprising comfort for a sportsbike. This one should treat the new owner well, about the only common issue with them was stator's failing. If he needs a workshop manual PM me, i still have it in PDF format somewhere.

Thanks Din, it should be perfect for me. It was good to meet up with you yesterday.

Madmartin, I will definitely be looking for a workshop manual if you have one handy. Cheers
