Auckland rescue helicopter charity ride, Sunday 24 February

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Charity Ride is on this Sunday 24th Feb 2013

They need us more than ever as their funding has been stopped from yet another source. Your support is essential.

Where else can you be part of a mass of bikes riding through Auckland.

Tell your mates and lets have a big ride just because we can.

By being in the Ride, not only are we supporting the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, but also enjoying the mass ride through Auckland, and reminding other road users that we are on the roads too.

Coffee available at the beginning, and food and drinks at the end.
Beginning at the usual place - Karaka Bloodstock Centre -right beside motorway opposite Papakura.
We will be moving onto the motorway by 10 am so be there earlier
Finishing at the AUT CAmpus on Akorangi Drive.
There are prizes to be won and you need to purchase a t-shirt ($20) or badge ($10) to get the lucky numbers.

The Helicopter will be able to join us at this point, as long as there is no emergency where they are required.

By the way it is the ARHT (Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust) that runs this service and Westpac are just one of the sponsors

Well done Jayne Has it been a year I have lost count Of the years since my off. The knee still isn't right but considering the treatment I have given this body I can't complain(know body listens) Top marks again. Regard Richard

Never miss the ride as the Team at the Rescue Helicopter do an amazing role. Will be there for sure, and bringing the wallet!

It's a great ride and a chance to share it with a number of other riders. If you want your badge though you'd better get in quick because they sell out very fast!

They take orders for them now, which is a much better idea. You pay your money and they send it out once they are made. Saves over ordering and losing money if they have too many, and makes sure that no one misses out either.
