    Alpinestars touring summer socks

Recently, a mate of mine suggested I try a pair of the above mentioned socks. To be honest, I was thinking "WTF.... $60.00 for a pair of socks???". He was giving them some pretty good press, and I've had an ongoing issue with hot uncomfy feet during Summer riding. Tried merino socks, but they don't last well, and still get pretty hot. So I bite the bullet, and get a pair of the Alpinestars socks.
They are bloody brilliant! Feet stay cooler, sweat is wicked away, and they don't stink after a day of wearing boots. Boots felt more comfy, too. I suggest trying them... you won't be disappointed!

Have you broken this news to your poor old Mum yet? All of those socks she's knitted for you over the years and this is the thanks she gets?

Yep. I've got all sorts of Norsewear socks, merino, wool, possum, etc and they're all good, comfy, durable and they don't get stinky

I think I'm just a fan of natural fibre really, it's always better than synthetic stuff where my feet are concerned....that and it's always a good excuse to go for a hoon to Norsewood and back

You can get them from Farmers. The shop that is, not the cockie down the road. Although, having said that...................

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
