Is all rim tape the same or is some piss poor quality?
Has anyone had any good or bad experience?
Thanx for your feedback

I bought good stuff and cheap trademe stuff and found there to be bugger all difference. What I did find is that the applicators tend to have little plastic casting type nibs on them which can break the tape as you are applying it and it is very temp dependant ie if applying it in cold conditions it breaks like crazy. Do it nice and warm so the tape is more flexible. Also I don't think you'll have to worry about it falling off, when I broke the tape applying mine I then had a prick of a time removing what I had already applied.
Get the 4 piece pre curved kits if you have parkinsons. Nothing looks more spastic than wobbly rim tape.

I was thinking of doing the rim thing, but my wheels are to sexy as they are to fuck around with.
I hate rim tape, it's sooooo 2007.
you put tape on your rim? Doesn't it annoy her tongue?

another option is to go to a sign/graphic shop. they have pinstriping at different sizes. its easy to put on as well and is usually only a couple of bucks per metre.
