Well, I think at least 1/2 of the types of groups I have seen would probably welcome a tag along, assuming they were going the same way. If they were all patched I'd probably think twice - might not be going to the same place and all.
While waiting at Pirongia for you guys last weekend Hayden and I had a good chat to the lead guys from another group that was going to Wellington. I even lent the HD guy an allan key so he could tighten up the mounts for his handle bars. Apparently something else tightened when they came loose while he was riding...

Sunday 17th February
Join our annual ride to Paeroa to watch the racing this Sunday. Two meeting points:
7.15am for 7.30am dept from Botany Honda
8.30am Kaiaua car park (near toilet block)
Route: Maraetai, Kawakawa Bay, regroup at Kaiaua. Over Kopu bridge then SH2 to Paeroa.

Sorry people I never saw the second page of replies on my phone haha, we will be at bp autobahn drury at 7.45 was hoping to meet up with botany in Kaiuara so hopefully we make that.
The earlier we get there the better chance of a good spot at the pub or something, cheers
