I've taken to using the local Caltex (just across the road) and taking a jerry can with me to carry the surplus over filling the bike so's I can get the 6c/l off for $40 worth. Means I build up a little surplus at home which adds a little to the full tank range.

My other bike does 400-450km but takes even less fuel tops out at round 30$ maybee just shy of... But the real question is, how those RUC's (Rape Unsuspecting Citizens) treating you, or is your bike off-road only?

Not a bad idea could be a way to get the CR's fuel at the same time & save. Course like you mention it really a close to home solution so I'd have to change my running outta fuel habits
