That defeats the whole purpose of an RX7.

Really? what is the purpose? (apart from making 'brrrp-brrrp-brrrp' noises)

The V8 adds some proper power to them - cheaply.

They were designed to be powered by a lightweight rotary. In that sense, they are a one of a kind car (or they were during the production era). Why fuck that recipe?

Now THAT!....is my type of "car"

I loved the line - "theres something about this car...that makes you want to be a total dick!"

    LOL

Reminds me of my old chevy impala I had when I was a kid....all rust, dents, old mags, a ford front end wielded on, and leaking headers....on a big block chevy V8!
Sure...it was complete peice of shit...but that fucka could ROCK!...and scare seven shades of shit out of ANYONE! (it was "known" by the local popo...they loved it!, always stopping me to check on the progress of my "Big block tank", and always having a laugh at my "mods")

That kid has such a great attitude..."fuck it!...its bad-arse fun!!"
Good on him, that was one of the best car reviews Ive seen for a while.

    Thanks for sharing the vid

Seems quite misnamed, looked like he did a lot of those mods specifically to draw attention and piss people off. Despite it have a V8, I'd be more than happy to nudge that piece of shit off a large cliff.

I really like it too. When I posted it originally I said I would like a rollcage of some sort, but now i am old I am much more of a safety-ween than I used to be.

An escort was designed to have a 1300 or 1600cc piston engine in it, yet rotor wanks insist on fucking with them. So why not take thier beloved model of car and put a proper engine in it ? See how they like seeing a perfectly good car destroyed.

And yes, I do not like rotory wankers.

Well, yeh, but why would you want to advertise that you're an incompetent fucktard? Cos I bet that's what it says to 90% of the people he drives passed (or who pass him when broken down or stuck in a tree).

I'd probably be fine with it if he hadn't said he did some of the things just to annoy other people, all for freedom of expression in mods etc.

Though in saying that, is probably sounds less offensive than the bag of flatulent arsholes bouncing down stairs that is the rotary with tin can exhaust that most boyracers seem to like.
