Universal logo for road racers overseas?

I'm working on a Logo for our overseas Road Racers to use while abroad. Something that can be recognised easily as being New Zealand and in a bright colour, small enough to not impede on sponsorship footage etc.
Something that we can identify with wherever we are in the world.
Anyone got any designs suggestions out there?

For the last few years I've been using this or variations of when racing overseas

Which harks back to Kim Newcombe.

plain, simple, easy to interpret an keeps away from th silver fern, to which our beloved NZRFU have copyright to or some such, and get a bit upity about any one else using

a variation would be Unzud (NZ) below it.

Good idea: and in fact I was just going to suggest it or something like it.

I'd buy some stickers or something.

Give me a couple of days Sir, might have the original artwork for the ones I did for Grant when he did his Malaysian stint a lifetime ago - def no stickers left sorry. As a thought, I'll fight my way into the darkest corners of the shed and see if i've still got the actual screen - could churn out a few hungy no probs

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

The fern definately - black on white / white on black or half and half - better than a funny looking big nose chook without tail feathers

It can be curved to match the contours of the fairing - Mr Turner who did the cliffhanger quite a bit had one on his bike (silver and black) looked pretty cool I thought.

You can get one already made

Change the kangaroo for a kiwi, stick a helmet on it and bung a front wheel in it's out-stretched, ever hopeful wings.

Hugh Anderson before thatand probably others before, always thought the kiwi symbol was first used by the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force in ww2.
