    Buggsy comes with an attitude

Buggsy has moved in. Buggsy is a 100cc 2t Yamaha with an atitude. I'm too scared to tell him he's only a toy. 100cc scooters are supposed to putter around town and pull off the street when anything larger on two wheels goes by.

This pocket rocket dragged me out of the house yesterday, threw the helmet on the ground and said "get on wimp' Next thing I know, I'm clinging on for dear life as Buggsy goes looking for a fight. Hitting the hills on the Kawhia road at 80kph this 93kg gorrilla ground the hills into dust. Even I was impressed. Buggsy wouldn't back off regardless how long the hills were.

Got to Kawhia and gave Buggs a drink. The little shit downed 1.9 litres of 91 in a single gulp. Still he had hauled my 95kg's over 72 kilometres with his throttle nearly wide open for a fair bit of the distance. At $2.50c a litre, that was all he was getting. I had an ice cream while Buggsy went looking for trouble with one of the locals . ( se pic). Buggsy wanted to hit on a local Honda Today parked on the main street so I got him out of there before hell broke loose. Coming back was more of the same. He really impressed me with how well the little buggar went.

Got back home and the sod drowned another 2 litres. A 145k's and 4 litres wasn't too bad.

Only saw one other bike on the whole run, a Harley, AND HE WAVED FIRST!!. Guess he reconized atitude.

Never ridden a scoot but I love practical, light & quick. In the search for RD 350 powered racing scoots from eons ago I found this.

Looks to be great fun & cheap.

cool! dont 100cc BBK's require machining of the engine case? so the piston can fit? Are you running a larger carb, or just upjetting?

edit: ah, thought you installed a larger bore/piston on a 50cc......nice scoot

Those BeeWee scooters are great fun. It was a toss up for me between one of them and the Cygnus. What a great summer this is. I'm really enjoying scooting round at the moment.

The same scooter is now a 50cc 4t. I'm happy if others think its a souped up 50.

Apparently you can get a 113cc piston kit for these. I thought about playing with the various mods but have decided that keeping it standard means a lot less headaches etc, with reliability my main aim.
