    Weather

Weather looks fantastic from Friday through to Monday-ish. Wind doesnt look like it will get up until Monday. Will be mild temps too. (Thanks to our friends at fencepost.co.nz).

Yes, well the thought had crossed my mind last night and then I forgot about doing anything about it - duh! Um well, how about we set a "postponment" (sp?) date for the following Sunday, anyone have any issues with that? Also I have the problem of not being able to access a computer out of working hours (mon-fri 7am-3.30) so if someone who has access to a pc at home would be willing to maybe either pm me with their phone number or vice versa so if the weather is dubious on he day then they could let me know if you lot are still going or not? I have visions of sitting at WMCC all on my lonesome wondering why everyone forgot me, when in fact no one is actually going . . .

Hey St8, I'll probably end up going regardless (unless there's thunder and lightning). My gear (will wear plastic bags on inside of shoes...no one will ever know until they hear me walk!) is reasonably waterproof...and I need as much experience in all clemencies (tee hee) too.

Maybe. But I won't leave you sitting at WMCC regardless.

I'll check and see what time Mrs H starts work on Sunday. We could always bring up the rear with a brush and shovel. A bimbling cafe crawl sounds like us...

If anyone is unsure of where Caltex Rimutaka is, and needs an escort, I'll be waiting in the carpark at the bottom of Maungaraki Hill at 10am. I'll be the fat bloke crushing a tiny Sportbike.
