Anika Moa Concert in the Catlins

CB and I went to an Amika Moa concert tonight, since a wine or two was forcast we took the 'pimpmobile' (CBs Oldsmobile).
Not that I drink lots if driving - just that I drink NOTHING if riding.

So the bikes stayed in the metal stable.

Concert was great - only 200+ people - but it WAS in Owaka, next to the Catlins Cafe. (KB rally attendees will know it)

And what a mixture of peopele - bare feet sitting beside RedBand gumboots beside cow-boy boots.

And we all enjoyed her performance - and the support artists.

Small-town NZ rocks!

We were working up the wisp yesterday, and were planning on going out there for a looksee afterwards but some of the younger ones in the crew wanted to get home to their phones and interwebs. I would of enjoyed it I think.

Good to hear a positive review Scummy! A friend is playing in her band for this tour.
We have quite a bit of talent in the NZ music scene.
