    Bluetooth question

Gremlin might be able to answer this one...

I use a Blueant Interphone on the helmet. It can connect to either the cellphone or the GPS.

I am curious as to why the GPS unit dominates the connection. If the Interphone has been connected to the GPS unit, I have to manually reconnect to the cellphone if I want that connection. This is whether the GPS is nearby, switched on or switched off.

If I turn the Interphone on when both phone and GPS are present and switched on, the GPS always snags the connection.

How does one unit dominate the connection? Just wondering.

Dunno. Phone was linked ages before I had the GPS...

Damn! That just might work at that!

But yes, the GPS does hog the connection. If I take the phone out of range of the bluetooth unit and then come back, it doesn't reconnect like it should. Soon as the power is on the GPS grabs it again. Invented by some greedy bugger I suppose. Prolly a 'merkin.
