if "justice" was applied across the board fairly, then sure, jail him, and every corporate who's dodged taxes, scammed the system etc.

to answer your question directly: no, i don't think he's done anyone any harm, and thus is not a criminal, and thus does not need any kind of "justice" applied to him.

he's being made an example of for exactly that reason: to incense you into a position of moral righteousness, and scare you into keeping yourself gainfully employed, and paying tax/levies, like a good little subject of the state.

1. ACC spent more money than they should have ... if they did their job an checked all the details of the guy, and compared them with other government agencies (like IRD) ... BEFORE they paid out any money ... there would be no issue.
ACC still receives the same income from the usual sources. (But certainly doesn't "make less" because of this guys actions)
If you want to pay smaller ACC levies with your Rego ... buy a smaller bike.

3. He got 3 years jail (probably serve 1 year). He will have pay the money back (probably from from his Benefit after they let him out of jail). and you want him to pay more .. ??

As I understand it, he wasn't working for the carpet laying company at the time of the accident but told ACC he was.

He then got a job with the carpet laying company and tried to get his employer to lie to ACC and say he was working for them when he had the accident.
