    I agree, not postable.
I would be keen to do a rememberance ride once per year too, in fact I might just organise it.

As I mentioned before, I'm all for this idea... a few posts back SpankMe said he's made a "RIP" page in the members section... I can't seem to find it...

Yup, I think it'll be cool to remember the fallen ones among us somewhere on the site...

I think it is a good idea to have some kind of rememberance thing. Many of us will never meet but that is not the point. We know each other online and that to me is where my respect is to those that I have never met.

I don't think that there needs to be to much personal information but I'd like to see the forum name, date joined and perhaps the number of posts etc.

    Just some thoughts on this.

Im with you 100% on this one BD. Its been a bastard last 4 weeks or so and i have now stoped looking at all associated threads, have said what have to say on them and thats that. Emotions get in the way of logic sometimes, and while rememberance is a great thing, i dont really need to view tragedy everytime i log on...IMHO.

I support a memorial page. As Paul said preserve their "KB name" put deceased - tell it like it is. As for newbies if they look at it - don't mollycoddle them. Life isn't fair, or nice all the time. Accidents happen to even the best of riders - it can have a positive affect to be careful. Not remain ignorant of the risks of motorcycling and life can be very short indeed.

nope not me.......i think its bullshit to be even talking about this kind of thing at this stage........the victims of the weekends carnage havent even been laid to rest and this is being talked about in a place where they loved to spend time....for those that knew these guys...i didnt.....i dont believe need a wall of doom to remember them...they will always remember them.they sounded like great guys and am sure that they would want people to remember them in there hearts and minds rather than have there name on a roll of sad and preferably forgettable incidents.........especially in a place they liked to spend time in............

I agree, a simple R.I.P next to there Kber Name in the members list should be enough not so that we remember them but more for the newbies that try and contact them in the future.

Death is not something to fear, Death is not taboo, death is a fact of life.

Let us not forget them and let us not mourn our loss, lets be happy that they did not suffer and get on whith our own short little lives.
