    I feel your pain mate.I was made redundant a month or so ago and there isn't a lot of work out there.If the kids weren't so settled in school we would be off to Oz.

    You can always have a bit of a break and see how you like the retirement (and if the money is enough) and maybe after a few month start looking for jobs again if you need to. I don't think it should be a problem for someone with GIS skills and experience to find a job. (I hope...)
