    NZSBK 2013 - Levels - flashers

    Another thread just reminded me of something that caught my eye during the wet race (Superlite/Pro Twin Race 2) at Levels on the Sunday.

    Several cars on the bank flashed their headlights as we came into turn 1/turn 2.

    Why would they do that ?

    Trying to say g'day ?

    Trying to put us off hoping for some crash action ?

    Trying to light up the track for us in the dreary conditions ?

    hmmm random... i didnt see them Deano!
    but then i was way concentrating on the conditions and catching the bikes in front!
    would be interesting to find out why though

    Yeah just a Sunday jaunt really. 2 seconds a lap quicker than anyone else, including Superlites

    I'm thinking it might be good to have some rain up North...

    Bit harsh mate, think you should re check that too.
    I'm sure i got the fastest lap of the race the lap after i went on the grass?
    Would put the mylaps link in but wait.... we cant!

    Oh and i didnt see the car lights either sorry

    I was actually 1.5s faster than Ritchie and 2s faster than the next pro twin. Give or take a tenth.

    Harsh was Nick Southerwood telling you how much you were holding us up.....

    Yeah good work mate, spose you don't usually expect the guy in 4th to put in a blinder at the end of the race.
    He pulled the fingers at me after the race at teretonga then got a real shock when i went and found him after the race and asked him what it was all about.
