New VMax in town (Wellington) (moop)

    Hello

I have moved back to Wellington after living two and half years overseas. My motorbike arrived just couple days ago and it is almost ready to be picked up! Very exciting. It will be great to catch up with some nice people from Wellington for occasional rides. I like to make nice personalized bike videos, GO PRO on helmets and bikes ... and have fun. Also we are living in Thorndon near New World and if any one would know about a garage I can rent to keep my Yamaha safe it would be fantastic!!

    Thanks!

    Martin

A very nice bike. I am sure it will be hugely perved at. Shame these aren't available to buy in these parts.

Welcome to Welly. Can't help with the garage hunting but good luck. That's too flash a bike to leave on the street.

They were when TSS had the franchise. I believe Stu sold at least one.

Nelson's probably our closest Yamaha roadbike dealer.

Yes he did, the buyer traded in the MT-01, he had in the shop for a while, that got sold about a year ago to a guy round 'the Tron' if memory serves correctly.

Man that Rev counter in the OP's post's is a dead give away what it is fitted to

In that case he sold two. The trade on the one I was thinking of was an XJR.

    mt and max

I used to have an MT and hoping to get one again .. Convincing my self and my partner that it isnt a stupid idea is the upcoming task. Especially while investing in the house

I have seen couple of vmaxes sold in NZ one red and one black (well over priced though) On Trademe was one second hand 2009 for 25 thousands. I paid this for new one in Dubai. BTW thanks for thinking about the garaging. I have solved it by hiring a nice place in Storage King in Thorndon. 170 per week gives me safe 24\7 access garaging.

Anyone is keen for a ride tomorrow? (wlg)

    Cheers!!

Would be martin, but sorry I'm working tomorrow.... MT's are not that common here as you well know, Don't know 'happened to Mossy's one, he was going to trade it in on a ZX1400,,
