The top riders would still be at the top no matter what era they competed in. The aliens would have been competitive on 2 strokes or Manx Nortons.
The TT riders good though they are would be tail enders if they rode at TT pace in a Motogp & you can't run at Motogp pace in a TT.

Moto GP and TT are like chalk and cheese - narrow GP tracks down to english country 2 lane road width, line them with concrete walls, poles, fences and banks, and put some white lines and random roughish bits of seal in there, and see how they handle it.......the aliens would still probably blitz it though.....

**Valentino Rossi himself was quoted as saying the 500 2t's where the most angry, scary, powerful bike he has every ridden!, so much raw un controlled power, that if you just crack the throttle, the bike will flip so fast!...it will break your back!!
(Now THATS a bike that requires the best of the best to pilot...the current riders are not even in the same league as Rainy/Swantz/Doohan etc...these guys...true GODS of speed & Skill)
