Great write up - maybe next year for me...
Every year I read the ride reports and wish I'd gone. The next year I see the conflict with the Sound of Thunder and don't bother, only to be disappointed at the turn out.
One of these days I'll finally do it. Look forward to more ride reports.

There does seem to be a big lack of reports in recent times...not just for this ride too.

s'pose I should start writing them... grumble grumble. Boss was off for 2 weeks prior to the trip, then left again as soon as I got back from my 2 week break (and is still away - hopefully back next week). Blog writing has taken a back seat to work and all the usual activities occurring in weekends...

Yes I do Andrew, but need to do a decent tour of the SI first, it's been too long.
Off to the US in a couple of weeks to escape winter, back in October so maybe then........
