Pre-89 CBR600f forks for postie racebike

Hi there,
Being at Uni I have been out of the motorbike world for a while apart from the odd motor cross hack etc. But what I really missed is road racing and especially my time in classic racing so when I found some decent holiday work I've bought myself a ratty CBR600F which should be a mint little rat racer, main problem is the fork stanctions are toast and figured a spare set would be of more benefit due to the fact if gives me a spare set of internals to play around with to find a good set up.
So if anyone has some forks, other useful bits or show advice for a postie newbie I would greatly appreciate appreciate it!
