It's a long drawn out process this 'selling on TM' thing. If it were me, I would have the bought item in my hands within 24 hours of accepting a fixed price or winning an auction.
Buyer of the Yamaha lives 30-40 mins away, accepted the fixed price offer on Saturday and has yet to even touch the bike. Not even a ''I collect the bike on this day''..I have told him via email I want the money in my bank on Wednesday to which he agreed, we shall see. I am having solemn thoughts on the sale now after three days.

I hope he comes through, Maha. It is an excellent bike and if this were for sale in 10 months' time, I would definitely be in line for it!

    Glad to hear that!

She's a choice bike... The more I look at her, the more I want her! Must...look...away...

BTW, is there any size difference between the FZ6 and FZ8? Taller? Wider?

Better looking ...in fact one potential buyer currently has an FZ6. Kind of wish he had placed a bid on the auction, I have heard more from that camp than the current ''buyer''...no money by tomorrow and the call will be made to FZ6 chap.

Yep, ultimatum to the buyer to stop pissing around and get it sorted. Give him dates (or let him/her tell you) then stick to them.

Much easier buying bikes I reckon

I hindsight, I should have just traded it, money would have been about the same

Doesn't always work out dollars wise, but yeah, while I'm not flush with money, I did that the last two times. You get stung on dollars, but you get the new shiny thing you want, immediately, and no issues sorting out dodgy test rides, buyers etc.

Na don't re-licence it - let them, then they only have to pay from the date of ownership change. Just flick them some dollars if you said it would be done - no use making the Govt rich!

Oooooo, I wonder if he'll be selling off his FZ6 sometime in the near future?
