Being narrow-minded is very common amongst senior citizens. You're forgiven.
Those changes were not made by those who broke the law, you are correct. However, the people who broke those old laws (impossible in the case of women voting I'm assuming) were the ones who prompted discussion that ultimately lead to change. The ones who made the changes were the politicians of the time, not necessarily any more intelligent than those who broke the laws or had the gumption to question them.
Thanks again for sharing your personal experiences and opinions. It's a shame that you couldn't see what was under your own nose. Often overlooked is the fact that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it's not very nice when one sides views aren't always based on actual knowledge or apparent solid reason and directly impede the other sides ability to choose for themselves.
I'd like to point out once again
I currently don't smoke cannabis, but I'd like the option to use it for both medical and recreational purposes
I would but I'd get more from the proverbial bashing of my head on a brick wall

Is humour the same as humor? I know a lot about humor. It's extremely subjective, much like opinions on Cannabis use and ones ability to operate a motor vehicle whilst under the effects of a powerful narcotic.
I personally don't find a bunch of boring, predominantly old, farts posting a load of dribble (I believe you call it innuendo) funny. Each to their own though, eh Ed?
