No wonder the police seem to have their heads up their own asses.

There is a difference, a huge one, try telling your superiors.

It is always good to question, I tell myself that every day, but, the law at the moment states that smoking/growing/selling pot is illegal. I used to think there was nothing really wrong with smoking pot, I used to smoke it and did so for many years. Since I ceased I came to realise that it is not the harmless drug I thought it once was. Amazing, how one can't see what's under one's nose, until one steps back.
Being narrow-minded is very common amongst senior citizens. You're forgiven.

Those changes were not made by those who broke the law, you are correct. However, the people who broke those old laws (impossible in the case of women voting I'm assuming) were the ones who prompted discussion that ultimately lead to change. The ones who made the changes were the politicians of the time, not necessarily any more intelligent than those who broke the laws or had the gumption to question them.

Thanks again for sharing your personal experiences and opinions. It's a shame that you couldn't see what was under your own nose. Often overlooked is the fact that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it's not very nice when one sides views aren't always based on actual knowledge or apparent solid reason and directly impede the other sides ability to choose for themselves.

I'd like to point out once again
I currently don't smoke cannabis, but I'd like the option to use it for both medical and recreational purposes

Please do yourself a favour and try to treat this thread with some respect as the other posters enjoy rational and meaningful discussion if you know what I mean. Sound familiar?

Try zooming out a little. I don't really give a fuck what you use to post here either, for what that's worth.

Unlike the IYKWIM thread, very meaningful thread that one - I might have to frequent it more often.

LoL! That thread never claimed to be either rational or meaningful! It's all about humour, something you seem to know very little about.

Is humour the same as humor? I know a lot about humor. It's extremely subjective, much like opinions on Cannabis use and ones ability to operate a motor vehicle whilst under the effects of a powerful narcotic.

I personally don't find a bunch of boring, predominantly old, farts posting a load of dribble (I believe you call it innuendo) funny. Each to their own though, eh Ed?
