Correct. Ideas on colour? What would be COOL? I think he would surely charge extra for lines?

But really, I might have a look around Taupo...
I think I got a pretty good deal but yea bit hard to get your tank and bits up here unless you drove it up lol.

Will PM you shortly and I know what you mean. I only have a little bit of money to spend cause my grandies died a while back, figured a few hundy to spend on my bike as a "treat" and the rest on DEBT! But I recently replaced tyres, sprockets, chain, just did a third oil and filter change, rah rah rah.

They will surely charge more as more work is required. What looks cool is purely subjective and based on the interaction you & I have had on here I figure there's little point in me telling you what I think looks good. These are the kind of stripes I was referring to, FWIW http://id3452.securedata.net/superbg...oads/image.jpg

I don't like to agree with you unless lesbians are involved, but you're right. Doing paint jobs on the cheap is my forte

Sent from a place without lesbians.

I hold no grudges. Opinion on colour?? Those stripes do look cool but maybe I'll leave them out, can always get decals eventually if I change my mind and they're cheaper I guess too.

I wasn't suggesting you do hold grudges, merely pointing out that we don't seem to agree on a lot. I like blues & greens myself rather than reds, orange & yellows and the brighter the better. Baby blue isn't too masculine and bright enough that car drivers will see you coming as you split up the Northern Motorway

Find someone with photoshop (and who knows how to use it) and apply different colours to an image of your bike maybe?

Are you suggesting the Dougcati looks anything remotely like the bike in that photo? If so, you should be in politics.

But the bike belongs to a female so being masculine does not (mostly, and on this occassion) apply.
Paint the damn thing what ever colour gets you gooey.

There's probably not a huge market for fat GN250-riding lesbians so don't be too hard on yerself

Besides, 'spokes has a partner so there's hope for all of us.

    Here some ideas:

I like the blackish dark red idea, i.e. the side of the tank of that bike in the last url.
Some kind of metallic tinge to whatever paint

Or something like this nice blue:
