    For the work that an MP has to do and the shit they have to take, that is not a lot of money.
    I wouldn't do it for twice that.

    agreed but thats the Job , some people put up with more crap at half the price

    The irony here is that, as Directors of an SOE, these guys had very little responsibility compared to directors of private companies.
    So their old salary for being an SOE director was a rort, but as Directors of a privatised entity (with much more oversight, responsibilities and penalties), they deserve every cent.
