picked up jacket yesterday and rode all afternoon/night dont really like the elasticated waistband as is rides up leaving your lower back/ crack exposed n a bit chilly, went for a ride in the afternoon with the liner removed, which leaves the nylon outer shell and the flimsy mesh liner, not the safest feeling, the hood turns into a parachute at 80+ km/h. The back pad feels like a piece of foam camp mattress cut to shape and the elasticated wrists dont go nicely over gloves and tend to ride up leaving your wrists exposed.
Right thats the bad, but aside from that with the liner installed its warm, super comfortable and you dont feel like robocop when you jump off to go into a shop or the like, no stupid straps all over it, not covered in zips n pocket, the pockets that it does have are in clever places that are easy to get to with ya gloves on and i love the pocket in the left sleeve for your keys, clever as
despite all the down sides im really happy with it and dont regret the purchase ($299) but will keep an eye out for another jacket that would be better suited to longer rides and trips that would require a bit more protection
