A small insight to the future of bike racing?
would have enjoyed it more if the clocks were visabile.
But hey following the other links from this was worth an hours or two of enjoyment

Its like what the bikes in Start Trek sound like, the future is nearly here. Just have to get the hover part sorted

+1, clocks would have been nice. Not opposed to the sound, and he was going flat out.

    Pretty cool!

Must be a slightly surreal experience..... guess you still have the wind noise... but those riders ears are finely tuned to every little change in the engine note. And not having gears to assist braking (I presume) Looks very stable though. Any body know the weight compared with a superbike in comparison.

Dunno how it compares to the current TT zero race bike ( or SBK bike) but:
    Dry weight 238kg
    Power 150+kW / 200+hp
    Torque 220Nm

Make a great green commuter bike !!
I wonder if I could get a subsidy from the Regional Council ??
I could probably get a subsidy from the National govt. If it was Coal Fired steam !!

From what I saw on the tv coverage that mugen is 200kg, they dropped 40kg from last year's bike. Kinda cool sound, but nowhere as awesome as the MV in the supersport races!

    Wowsers, cool.

Do they even bother with a rear brake or do they just use regen?

How many laps are the TT zero bikes doing? is it 2?

edit: 1 lap roughly 45 minutes.
