I think the extra Open support class may have slipped through to the keeper?

Numbers were a lil' light on Down South so it'd be great to show 'em how it's done up here

Taupo is looking good after the repairs, the NZSBK racing will be stellar, should be some good crowds, and with 2 days testing prior there will be shitloads of track time for all.....and in glorious sunshine (did you here that Jim Hickey?), not the shite Winter weather. All we have to do to help showcase our sport is rock up and race, how easy is that?

Nope, but I did the last Vic Club Winter Series round at Taupo and the track was much improved, thanks to RICOH. I saw Choppa's new lap record at the PMCC round and assumed things were still pretty good? I'd be very interested in anybody's assessment of the current track condition.

Turn 9 (A1GP corner) had craters. It claimed at least 1 victim at PMCC R2. I believe it'll be fixed before the Nationals are run there, if it hasn't been already.

Yep that was one of the corners and there were other corners that had the same issue/starting to present the same issue.
Felt kinda odd having my knee go down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up-down-up through turn 9, knew I was too close to them at that stage

I purposely kept my knee well off the ground there. If a slider catches that shit can really hurt. Eddy Kats has done that somewhere I believe. Took months to get back to the riding.

Yes he did, right in front of me at puke, and he snapped his femur without falling off! Hard man and a legend in my book.

The track has been repaired already. It should be in mint condition by the time the V8's get on it - the week before us.
