The fix was quite simple, disconnect the wires from the battery, grab both ends really tight, and rip the fuckin things out and place in bin.
Cool story Bro, but I have mine to help with Carpel tunnel pain which they do well. So would like them working again.

thems the ones I need ....... Now just to find some in stock, plenty have the ATV and 22mm versions.... Its a shame most dont use the part number from Daytona.... takes it bit long to search through the stock. Not to far different in price to the oxford ones

When I get the time again will keep looking

I had Daytona grips, never again, had that Off, Start, On setup, On you could barely feel, start was too hot in sub zero temps.

Done 100-200k on Oxford grips (2-3 sets I think, different bikes as well), awesome kit.

Spokes, I'll have a hunt around at home, as I think I have some spare components, could be what you need...

When did ya buy them? Should be a warranty issue.

Otherwise if Gremlin can't find anything I can do you a deal on a controller setup.

I have mine wired for High output, and made a Pulse Width Modulator to vari temp the output, there is a rheostat available (at a price). Switching in a series of diodes also works.

So Gremlin kindly dropped of a new controller, but that had no effect. So then I tried it without the controller plugged in, grips still got hot. Odd.

So it has to be the other little black box that has the fault. Unfortunately that the one thats hard to get out.
