Fuck me, he had to work for that win !

Talented young rider who kept his cool there, almost like he knew he could take it and was practicing hitting the line in front every lap !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Here's hoping Simon Crafar or someone similar takes an interest in the lad. If he can perform at that level hopefully somebody will...

you'll find that his dad Rob Lewis used to punt a bike round our tracks when Simon was a youngster here, that was one of the relationships that rekindled and helped them make the desicion to go abroad last season and spend some time staying with the Crayfishes...

Does anyone know if Albert Arenas is racing this weekend with EJC?
He was listed as a wildcard for Aragon, so maybe he is not?
A good result could see Jake extend his lead in the points by a fair bit.

Usually the wildcards are already booked for each round ..... cant find entry list for Assen. I would think he is not racing this weekend. Certainly did Jake a favour by coming 2nd if he isnt contesting the whole series.

Just another item to add to the list - to win a championship - as well as skill, money and a good team - a little "luck" sure helps

    Ah, what a shame.
Did anyone see what happened with Jake?
The other boys will need to pull finger a bit, but it really goes to show that almost anyone needs more than one years experience at these sorts of things.

Jake was pushing real hard 12th - 7th inside half a lap. Knew he had to get with the lead pack. But still joint second in the points (Thanks to wildcard riders gettting good results) He is OK.

And like a true champion is taking away all the positives, and very keen to get to Monza....
Leader on points has 32. Jake is joint 2nd with 25, and a few are on 23/22.....

So still close at the front.
