Just fitted a set of 750mm bars to replace the stock 680mm... interested to see if it makes a difference as I've found the narrow bars make the bike seem twitchy at times.
Should be going tomorrow, except I haven't ridden since Easter. I think my non-existent asthma will make a return

750 is my sweet spot for bar width without bar ends or 720 with.
Best value I've found are the Funn Fat Boy 750 riser and Flame On 720 flat. Just the right pull back for me and available in several different colours.
I have a set of carbon riser bars in 680mm. Felt like I should grow a beard, put on some rimmed glasses, tight jeans and start listening to vinyl.

Yup, picked up a Funn bar from T7 for about $50 during the special. Figured it was a cheap experiment if it didn't work out.

You are behind the times. 27Plus is the new must have size.
I would say the right frame size is of more importance than the wheel size. After all, we got along just fine with 26" wheels for years until suddenly manufacturers decided we had to have 29" and now again, 650 (27.5) and now I think it's 650+... yeah, it's crazy.
My hardtail (first bike) is a 26'er, and yes, I do think the 29'er does roll over roots and suchlike more easily, but depends if that's the terrain you're riding? Technique will trump a few inches any day

+1, but you would have completed far more than me...
Loving the 750, no adjustment needed (well, perhaps stay away from trees a little more, as I got bark wedged between grip and bar plug) so it's here to stay.
