Ok this what I am buying, all going well.

    Price 440 pounds.

    Is it a rip?

I have purchased this in 15min without a beer while being yelled at.
I calculated what each bit would be worth on ebay and ended up thinking , its worth it.

Right I need a story, to explain!

This bike has the same motor... in USA its a GS1150 in NZ it was sold as a 1984 -1986 GSX1135EFE
Last of the great engines with a roller crank.

It has taken the Hayabus and Suzuki 30yrs to beat this motor, its that good.

Hell I dribbled on that night...

Waiting for the front end to turn up.

This is what the dude spent in pounds on the front end.
Only way I would spend that kind of cash on a front end is on the wife's front end.. Did I mention the big head light on the GSX1100E.

Yep the dude spent 740 pound, which is equal to $1409 NZ.
And I have mine to sell if I need some cash.

It has been a while since there has been some progress.

Have no funds is like beaning a pisshead and having no beer. Its not good.

Any way the rear end bits are on their way and I have purchased the spacer (new) hard to know if its right, the spacer between rim and rear caliper mount / hanger in perspective to the disc and caliper alignment. Buy the original spacer for like $17USD and I know its mint. Just work out the two outside spacers, and it is done.

Next up is the rear brake caliper. GSX600F / 750F 1998 which needs to be fixed to the swingarm. The RG one floats on the axle and had a bar mounted to the main frame. This one has to be fixed to the swingarm. I don't like that. I want the same but I want to use the later model caliper. Hole centres are the same its just the height of the middle of the axle that's different. Both 17mm.

Obviously the RG has a smaller disc, can I use this with the gsx rear caliper but use the RG axle mounting bracket...
That would mean the GSX caliper is near a straight swap with the RG one... and I think it is. I will investigate.

This is the set up for a floating rear disc caliper. Looks like it should be lubed, it has a seal on it that would need changing.
Don't want to make this shit, If I can use all this with the later model caliper all good.

The picture above tells all the story.
The one up.... above this post.

The rear caliper mount.... my drug induced great idea seems was as about as useful a women's brain when it comes to fixing anything with more than one screw. Unfortunately I don't seem to meet the bitches that can handle a few screws.

What seemed like the perfect idea turned in to a dog. Next thing you know your married..... and we all know what happens form here!

So back to my caliper exchange idea.. why is the GSX600 one longer than the RG one I want to use? Real simple reason... cause it has to be.
OK enough said about that idea. Ok I might have thought it was to be Revolutionary in the RG world but it seems I am the trillionth person to do this mod and no one thought about that... yea right!

In a nut shell the RG one is too short and the caliper hits the hub.

the RG rear caliper mount is to short.. caliper hits the hub.
This means I have to mount the torque bar for the rear caliper to the swingarm and not the frame as standard.

So thanks to this new development I know need to use the 600f caliper and mount, and as we know it does not float.
It is solid mounted. So the torque arm is attached to the swig arm and not the frame. Which means I need to manufacture a caliper torque arm mount to be welded to the swing arm.

Here is a picture of the swingarm and frame.
at the bottom is the old mount hole for the arm, now it needs to be attached to the swingarm.

In reality the torque arm needs shortening. To keep the caliper in the bottom position.

A young brunette goes into the doctor's office and says that her body hurts wherever she touches it.

"Impossible," says the doctor. "Show me."

She takes her finger and pushes her boob and screams in agony. She pushes her butt and screams, pushes her clit and screams and so it goes on, everywhere she touches makes her scream.

The doctor says, "You're not really a brunette, are you?"

She says, "No, I'm really a blonde."

"I thought so," he says. "Your finger is broken."

I need to strip the caliper's, it seems the paint has bubbled and is shit.

    Cant say I disagree.

And it seems obvious that the wife cant help, SHIT that reminds me I must go and tell her that she can go to bed, it was just after dinner. She had washed a few thing for the Rg in nice hot water. So I told her to wait, as I had a few more things to do. But forgot to cancel the request. Dam good women was waiting. "should I get some fresh hot water?" was the welcome. Feeling guilty I thought about my car needing a wash but said "no thanks honey its nearly midnight you can run off to bed, after you get me a beer."

Dam marriage is hard work, always a compromise.

Stupid people might as well sign off now.
With that sorted... I know the wife will stop reading now!

We can talk front and rear ends, with nipples and sweet spots.

The new front end is here.

After that build up you would be thinking some thing cool. But this is the front fork, weee little thing.
At least it has up graded insides, bit like a good set of tits. When they are from the early 1980's they sag like hell without some inserts.

Mods to mount the caliper's. Main reason I purchased these puppies. A wise man would measure this up. After all this is info I could not find.......
