Been busy, going trail riding in Taupo after work tomorrow, sat ride... had to get organised.
... cant understand why I had to help, what did the women have planned after dinner and putting the kids to bed? Hell she had a whole hour to kill before her bed time.
Some women are just lazy, unorganised and plan selfish! Me help..!haa

Told her that one of the boys bikes wont start... boy starts getting upset. Super Dad to the rescue... hee and NOOO helping.
    Garage, beer and bikes...

Bottled a NZ Pale Ale tonight , Larger and Summer Ale sill in temp controlled environment waiting to be bottled.
    Currently drinking a Cider!

    Project update..

In the garage not helping, drinking cider
Stand needs some tread plate for the top... $320 notes cant afford that! So it looks like its going to have a plywood top... bummer. But I have nothing left to sell. Kids are gone and the wife is hanging on to their pictures. Told her we could get $2 for the frames but she wont let go!

Obviously I have a heap of cheap plywood under my house from packing creates (work) , even build a new shed for the ride on using them.
So that will work but looks shit.

First compromise... (Noted) I do wonder how many I will have to make!

Then its pull apart.. weld, reassemble, pull apart, paint, re assemble.

Its been a little while since my last confession!

I have watched... "Purity Blues" a shit TV series wife had recorded... young girls growing up in the 70's...not interested. But as I walked in to the kitchen I could hear this TV series... first episode... and this high school surfer dude just fingered this chick and then let his mates sniff his finger. Hooked.!

Drunk too many beers and made an ass of myself...

Spent too much money on bike bits...

Advertised used boys undies... well fuck me some sickooo's buy used women undies..(Grant)..... there has to be a premium for selling used boy undies!!!! OK that might be getting carried away telling a good story .

I can hear U asking... has there been any update to the RG... for Fuck sack that is what this thread is about and don't know about you but there's been FA RG action.
Funny part is I don't even own one...I just get pictures off the net. heeee

Look its got wheels.... and for the dumb asses... this Is the base up side down..

Mean while been making my boys KX65 trail proof (NOT POOF)

Add washer to exhaust to control exhaust flow... don't have to change jetting. Bigger the hole faster it goes..

Add 10ounce flywheel........ makes the bike much easier to ride, great for trail riding.

    CRF70 3.6hp
    KX65 14hp

cool... anyway next thing is to add a side stand.

     photo DSC00113_zps7c7f434e.jpg
Stand is from a from a KX60 just needs a bracket to bolt too, so I'm making one form cardboard and then weld it to the frame.
Only doing it cause the wife is moaning about getting the boys stand... especially straight after getting mine!
And when the boy yelled "women get my stand" that was the end of stand collection!

so yep... need one for the KX250 but they are all so ugly... I recon the old girls got a few more pick ups left in her!

The work shop stand is now assembled and thanks to free packing creates it has a top.

I have gradually increased the weigh on the table to check my welding is not shit....up and down and up and down.
So first up was the misses... should have been... but its not finished so its not time yet... and only gone up and down twice!

And its the bucket and I have to say its soooo coool. When at full height the top of the bucket was just on 2m high.
Still more work to be done before the RG makes it to the stand.

Next up is tidy up the packing create, and front wheel clamp.
Front wheel clamp is ready for tacking together all going well this will be tomorrow....

    facts:

    I hate painting
    I really hate painting.
    painting sux.
If I was a painter... I would be fired.
Thinking about it painters are really odd people, why would you choose to paint?
You can do so many things and not have to paint.
Hell there was that old painter dude... that cut his ear off... painter... see it true.

Looks like I'm talking to myself.... fine I'm used to it.

Right... there was two conditions I had to meet before the RG got stripped...

    - Build engine stand
    - Build work shop bench

All I can say is.... Yea loving it.

I want to enjoy this rebuild... so in order to do that one must have the fruit....

First up is the engine stand... "ok ready for orders" look is even got plastic feet...

     photo DSC00138_zpsccd8de61.jpg

    And drums please...

    and are you ready...

     photo DSC00143_zps869862dd.jpg

     photo DSC00154_zpsf8299dc5.jpg

And the wheel clampy thing... was not sure what to do here so I just made it.
    Seems to work.

I just stood there... time to get a beer... soak up the view and the feeling of doing good.

     photo DSC00154_zpsf8299dc5.jpg

     photo DSC00152_zps7e5f9d63.jpg

Oh and did I say ... I am very pleased.
After loading the RG on to the table... I just opened a beer and stood there thinking to myself .... man I am sooo cool
Next minute... wife turned up and ruined it all, did not even stop to stroke my ego... NO just walked pasted asking what am I cooking for dinner!

There are two things I seemed to fuck up on the work shop stand ... Looking back I could have got it 200mm lower. And the next was when the bike was on the stand the back lowered 10mm which means the safety support did not get to the highest level, not a major but it needs to be fixed. So I need to cut about 15mm off the bottom of the feet. No major.
