If you paid via PayPal I would raise a dispute now, there is a cut off period of 90 days depending on the situation. 7 weeks is far too long (imo) to wait for something. Did they say it was ready to ship or there would be a wait?

Definitely contact customs first though, it could be waiting for you there.
