Recommendation for motorcycle auto electrician on North Shore?

I have a new alternator (stator) and regulator rectifier for installation into my non charging 1984 Suzuki GS1100G. The loom and all connections switches etc all need a good look at and clean up to ensure no grounding is occurring and that connections are all good.

I'm too useless with electrickery and am colour blind so don't even want to try and waste time sorting it out.

Can anyone recommend a professional (or very experienced) auto electrician on or near the shore who might be able to do a house call to sort the old girl out??

    Cheers

When you find someone to do the work, get them to relocate the regulator up under the steering head (no biggie, just extend a few wires)

The stock position of the reg (under the battery box) doesn't provide for much cooling air - didn't on my 1100, anyway.

BTW, you wouldn't have a spare 1100G seat you'd like to sell, would you?
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Thanks Pete. good idea. Sorry I don't have a spare seat. the closest I have to that is a tail cowling with the extensions that run along under the seat.
