    Shift pads for boots

Got a pair of well loved old Daytona goretex touring boots (about 12 years old) that are still going strong except the rubber shift pads on the toes have fallen to bits.

Options I've got are to head to bunnings see if there's some simple rubber to cut to size and glue, or head to a cobbler.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

    Chur!

Cheers dude , that might be the place i was thinking about - is that the guy who holded out with his little building while they were building all the new complex around him?

Good to get some positive feedback first.

I have some Daytona goretex boots still all good after only 6.5 years.....used for year round commuting in the UK 1200 kms per week for 3.5 years and now having a much gentler time

The Motorcycle Popo in use UK them a lot cos they're comfortable and hardwearing (the things you talk about when you've been pulled over )

What is this ride thing of which you speak?

They haven't quite had 12 years continuous use, migrated from main boot after a number of years to winter/touring then to backup (which I'm intending to use on a trip). Done bloody well, still waterproof would buy Daytona's again in a flash if anyone stocked them.

    Cleaned them last night....
