    Yamaha XJS 1992

    hi guys,
just want your thoughts on the Yamaha XJS 1992

with it being air cooled will it be a problem with overheating on a hot summers day having 2up?
also overall performance, pros and cons, what to look out for?

    thanks

For an accurate answer to your question we're going to need a picture of your pillion, preferably without any gear on.

I've ridden air cooled bikes in the tropics ... an oil cooler (if already not fitted) will help. On the open road ... it will (usually) not be an issue ... but at low speed (in towns/city's) ... keep the rev's down ...

But if push comes to shove in the heat ... don't thrash it and you'll be fine.

But it IS a Yamaha ... and it should cope ...
