The Metzeler “Elephant Run” is back... bigger and better for 2013, taking place on Sunday May 5. A must-do event, the “Elephant Run” is a social road ride and gathering of like-minded people with an opportunity to win some fantastic prizes.
All makes and models of bikes are welcome, on any tyres. However, in order to give something back to our loyal Metzeler customers, anyone riding on METZELER tyres goes into the draw to win some great prizes: Metzeler tyres, NEO Ride Apparel, Bull-It Jeans, and Forma Boots. But, we'll also have some other prizes up for grabs for non-Metzeler riders, including Motorcycle Trader & Kiwi Rider subscriptions.
This is a fun, unguided social event where you can ride at your own pace, meet up with your mates – plus be in to win some top prizes!
The Elephant Run is scheduled to depart Pokeno at 9.30am, but participants are advised to arrive around 8.30-9.00am for sign-on. The ride takes in some of the North Waikato's best roads, with a ride duration of around 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
