Oh oh, sounds like I need to slow down a bit. Obviously a VTR250 isn't supposed to be ridden like that. Hope I didn't appear dangerous?

JSG, about half of us were on 250s. It was a great paced ride with everyone riding their own ride but still hanging as a group. Just really enjoyable. And I don't think anyone did anything stupid, I was just worried that maybe I had without realising it.

    Stop rubbing it in

    ........... hehehe j/k

    - I enjoyed myself too. Did some work on my lines and learnt to up shift and down shift a little better too. Still need to work on staying commited to my lines and consistently apexing at the right point, among the other million things a newbie needs to learn.

I guess all this talk about SV's means you aced your CBTA - .

When do you get your full??

Another month and a bit hopefully! Booked in for the end of September, so if all goes according to plan, I should have a new bike for Christmas (just have to ask Santa nicely ).

holey shit, its taken me two days to reply!

    That ride was totally awesome...

big ups to keystone (as per usual) what i didnt tell you was that for a while on the bit before whitianga i actually slowed down on the straights (like 60-70kmh) because with all that traffic i wanted to make sure nothing had gone wrong. But considering the power difference im sure the VTR did get a thrashing - i know my ZXR did

not to be stink JSG, but me and keystong werent taking it easy by any means and the pace set by the sportier 250's was at times a bit faster than the bigger bikes. I know that its probably the fastest i've ever ridden (apart from when i let the bigger bikes through so testosterone didnt take hold)

victoria, hope you had an awesome day... always good to have new people getting into the game.

to the northcote boys, we gotta get out more on our two fiddy's that ride back was pretty crazy - lucky there were no cops

cheers everyone for coming, i know i really enjoyed it

    cheers for coming people

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

You would have been waiting a while Gareth, we stopped at the top of the hill for about 20 minutes and had a chat with a rider who had just come up the other way. Sorry about that, should have told you we were stopping. And I'm sure you didn't slow that much...

oh yup sure sure, im talking about the bit where i passed victoria and crashe then passed you... i wasnt really around you much before that (perhaps it was after whitianga) i passed you then blasted off at some mental ZXR pace and was pushing it a tad harder than you on the corners.

either way im pretty sure we were both near the limits of our bikes today, im not too keen on finding the edge of my front tyre as that tends to be the one that hurts if you screw it up

Are you referring to the lines we choose on our bikes or the perfect lines of our bodies?
