Nice bike - but unless you want to spend significantly more time off road than on - for the money - buy a Triumph Tiger.

Nothing wrong with a correctly placed TLA. IMO.

My advice is give yerself seven uppercuts and give it back.
You know what sort of twisted individuals ride GS's, so ask yerself "do I wanna be like the Editor"...I think you know the answer.

    Mostly harmless.

1923 Douglas barnett - were you a two wheels reader? - That was a long running gag with them.

Saw one of them at head office last week, they're not the prettiest bikes around, that's for sure. The K1200R's a nice piece of kit though, love to take one for a ride, need to get my full before they'll let me though

I agree - Mackay and Eisdale have been working through testing the BMW range. For me 30 large and over is the worry with them. That's why i favour the Tigger. You could buy a new one - power commander, race can, spare set of motard wheels, luggage and it's still a few grand cheaper than the BM.
The BM is superior off road - a horned up tiger would smoke it on the tarmac. Priorities and budget.
