    Finally - Winter has arrived.

Worked that out today, when I went out in shorts, jandals and a tee shirt, and bloody near got frost bit on my toes The sun was shining and it was really warm at home. While we were out the "weather" arrived and it was coat time by the time we came to go out to the car

However, I am delighted really, I get to cook yummy, slow cooked delights. To show just how long it has been, for tonights dining pleasure I have made devilled sausages, and I hate sausages. It was just the thought of the yumminess that made me do it...

So, out with the crock pot for the next little while.

I know one bloke that will be happiness filled by tonights offering, what floats your boat food wise in winter? I am a bit of a Lamb Skank gal myself.

Hey that's what I had for dinner tonight too. Cooked in the crock pot also. Do you put apple in yours?

Winter is yet to reach these isolated parts, I am still in shorts and a tee shirt, as I type this, no jersey even! I kid you not.

Stew in the slow cooker with mushrooms, spud, lots of meat, mixed veges and nice thick gravy. Fresh buttered bread to mop up the plate.....

    Soft cock.
Shorts, t-shirt, etc are perfect attire for this time of year and also the coming months.

Lamb in the slow cooker was also the dinner of choice today. Maybe a roasted pumpkin soup during the week.

Cretin, you use a real pumkin (it provides the bowl that way), 30mins on high will reduce the inside to a soupy consistincy. Just remember to cut a whole in the top.

Also, fuck off you wintery fiend, my bike is almost ready to ride again!

Tex/Mex pot roast. Get oil smoking in frying pan and fry up a lump of cow. Roll it around to seriously sear all over. Get crock pot and and bung in carrots, whole onions, halved potatoes, couple of whole red chilli, paprica and cumin seeds. Put singed cow on top of that lot and pour a couple of cups of the wife's best white wine and a tin of tomatoes over it. Add wine or beer or water so the meat's all but covered. Turn pot on high when you wake up and turn to low as you leave the house.

Dinner time. Give the meat an veg to the kids and keep the lovely thick gravy for yourself, spread on toast.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
